چکیده
Device-associated infections (DAI) can cause major medical and economic sequelae. Multifaceted care bundle is considered as an important part of routine nursing activity, not only a measures DAI prevention, but crucial treatment with profound effect on the patients general health.
 Objectives

To measure Device associated infection status CLABSI, CAUTI, VAP in pre implementation phase according to HAI surveillance guidelines.
determine compliance health workers bundles prevention device CCU Phase III.
evaluate effectiveness multifaceted approach & CCU
 find risk Post (Phase III)
Methods: An experimental was adopted study reduce critical unit (CCU) multispecialty hospital, Mangaluru. Universal sampling technique select 472 sample retrospectively (MRD HIC records critically units) 409 samples prospectively (current ill patients) then done post evaluation done.
Results: While comparing phases, it found that there reduction CAUTI rate /1000 catheter days CLASBI rate/1000 central line from I III increase ventilator III. Increase utilization ratio III, also observed during pre-implementation phase, rate, CLABSI for all ICU’s taken together were 134.37/1000 days, 412/1000 332.92/1000 urinary respectively. However, rates reduced into 133.92, 287.98, 242 per 1000 There month wise decreasing trend period.
In males AND reported highest both Phases (I III) difference statistically significant age gender (p=0.500) .Highest number compared .Total more (352) whereas 340 VAP, 292 I. (0.0017) (0.002) (0.0016 ).
Conclusion: From findings concluded significantly DAIs
